Anger is an emotional state, characterized by antagonism toward someone or something you feel, has deliberately done you wrong. Every individual has anger but with varying degrees and frequencies. It is typically characterized by feelings of stress, frustration, and irritation. Everyone feels anger from time to time. It is a normal response to frustrating or difficult situations. However, too much and too frequent anger is not a good thing to possess.
Anger becomes a problem when it is displayed excessively and begins to affect your daily life and the way you relate with people. Anger can range in intensity, from a slight annoyance to rage. It can sometimes be excessive or irrational. There is no age limit to anger, especially these days. Thus, at times, it can be hard to keep the emotions in control and could cause you to behave in ways, you wouldn’t otherwise like to behave. When you are angry, you tend to lose control over yourself.
On the contrary, anger can be a good thing, as well. It can give you a way to express negative feelings, for example, or motivate you to find solutions to problems. But then, excessive anger can cause problems. Increased blood pressure and other physical changes associated with anger make it difficult to think straight and harm your physical and mental health.
